Rodeo announcer Troy Goodridge, Ft Scott, KS,
returns to Mound City Fri and Sat, Aug 7th & 8th at
8:00 pm to call the PRCA Rodeo action. Troy
announces 40 to 45 performances each year in KS,
MO, NE, IA, OK and WI. This will mark his 16th year
at Mound City.
New Frontier Rodeo Company, Gypsum, KS. Jimmy
Crowther, owner of New Frontier, returns to
produce the 2026 Linn County Rodeo. Crowther
started producing rodeo in 1978 while still
competing in the bull riding event. About the same time, he began his bucking bull
breeding program with genetics from legendary rodeo producer Charlie Plummer, Sayer,
OK. Today, Crowther owns the “purest” Plummer genetics in the industry. Meanwhile, at
the 2015 Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo, cowboys won four go-rounds in the bareback and
saddle bronc riding on New Frontier bucking horses Elvis, Cross Fire, Satin Sheets and
War Eagle.
